Thanks to Highland Hobo, and to Lady Marmalade especially, for making our adventures to the Outer Hebrides so memorable! Driving the bright orange iconic VW along the single track roads of Lewis, Harris, North Uist and Skye was an experience we won’t forget. Once we figured out the gears (!), there was no stopping us; pootling from one amazing beach to the next, from one spectacular viewpoint to another, stopping to make regular cups of tea, soup, and to chat to curious friendly passersby. Having everything with us and the ability to cook gave us the freedom to go wherever we wanted at a moment’s notice. It was a unique holiday; one I hope to be able to repeat in the future!
